Senior Business Intelligence Developer

We are looking for an experienced data professional to join our client's dynamic team as a Business Intelligence Developer / Power BI Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be at the forefront of their PowerBI platform development and administration.

The role:

As a pivotal member of our client's BI Community, you will play a key role in supporting their enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include system administration of PowerBI, report development, data modeling, and customer solutions design. You will collaborate closely with business representatives to ensure consistent access to quality data sets, driving a shift towards using advanced BI tools over traditional office productivity software.

Experience and Skills: Designing, building, and maintaining complex Power BI dashboards and data visualizations. Strong expertise in Business Intelligence frameworks, with specific experience in Power BI administration. Solid understanding of business requirements gathering and data architecture. Experience in developing and reviewing conceptual and logical data models. Proven communication and interpersonal skills across various organizational levels. Strong project management abilities with a proactive and self-driven approach. Proficiency in SQL, DAX or PLSQL, and exposure to Microsoft Azure and SSIR/SSRS technologies preferred Responsibilities: Collaborate within the Reporting and Analytics Community to enhance data accessibility and reduce technical debt. Develop and implement standards, frameworks, and guides to standardize report design and analysis models. Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to address evolving technology and data needs. Provide strategic input into our client's Data Strategy and contribute to resolving complex data issues. Mentor and lead a team of analysts to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. Contribute to the development of our client's BI Strategy and implementation roadmap.
