You will be required to utilise critical thinking to undertake and inform complex problem solving. In doing so you will be contributing to the development of frameworks and processes that will help ensure future workforce analysis is undertaken using consistent and robust methodologies, helping the Directorate to fulfil its responsibilities.Additionally, effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be required, as you will be engaging with teams throughout the entire organisation.About our TeamThe Workforce Design & Integration Directorate is part of the newly established Military Workforce Design Division. The team's mission is to lead ADF input into workforce capability and growth plans and integrate organisation fundamental inputs to capability across all Domains, to ensure the Future Integrated Force is designed to be affordable, achievable, sustainable and integrated. The small team has a mix of APS and ADF personnel and offers a friendly, flexible and supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and integrated as part of the whole team. You will play a key role in contributing towards Defence strategic workforce outcomes.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate is a flexible team player who demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to deliver quality products and work to timelines. You will demonstrate a history of being able to design and implement innovative solutions to help solve complex problems whilst maintaining relationships and networks with a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying policy against a range of workforce planning related practices and procedures would be beneficial.
