Private Credit Investment Specialist The Private Credit Investment Specialist position is a multi-faceted role supporting the continued growth of Jefferies Credit Partners presence in the Australian market. The person who fills this position will work on a wide range of business and investment-related sales activities. The individual will support the Jefferies Business Development sales team by participating in meetings with Australian clients, prospects, and consultants to discuss our private credit strategies and platform while working in collaboration with Leucadia Asset Management "LAM" sales professionals. We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to building a new business line within our organization.  Responsibilities  The Private Credit Investment Specialist's primary responsibilities will include the following:  Act as the subject matter expert across all Jefferies Credit Partners private credit offerings with a focus on supporting JCP & LAM investment & sales professionals focused on the Australian market.  Work alongside the sales team on client pitches, product positioning, and sales campaigns.  Participate in meetings with clients, prospects, and consultants to communicate our investment philosophy, strategy, portfolio companies, and performance.  Leverage a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service assets under management  Travel in the market to meet with prospects, clients, and centers of influence in support of the broader sales and educational effort.  Involvement in product development and product launch sequencing, including market analysis, competitor profiling, investment team assessment, client channel/geography demand trends, economic terms, and fund structuring.  Create innovative and insightful market content for current and prospective investors.  Collaborates with various Investment, Sales and Investor Relations teams to build content, collateral, and brand awareness campaigns.  Coordinates and collaborates with other Investment Specialists, as appropriate.  Produces expected sales results and activity levels as defined by manager.  Qualifications  To succeed in this role, an individual must possess a strategic orientation combined with strong analytical skills and excellent potential for relationship management. The successful candidate should possess the following specific competencies or attributes:  Knowledge of direct lending / leveraged finance, based on investments, portfolio management and marketing  Experience and understanding of relevant Australian LP's  Detail oriented and highly motivated with ability to multi-task  Exceptional interpersonal skills - ability to establish rapport and quickly engender trust and respect with a wide range of individuals representing the spectrum of institutional investors, including staff and Board members, consultants, other industry contacts and multi-disciplinary internal colleagues  Outgoing, collaborative and inclusive style  Well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment  Highly motivated self-starter who works well independently  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and work well under pressure  Experience in a related position, including experience at an Australian asset manager, sell-side firm, consultant, or capital allocator
