We are seeking a delivery focused Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to provide technical leadership, create design artifacts and develop application migration wave plans to support a private Data Centre to public cloud migration. 

This Full Time, Fixed Term (until November 2025) position is currently based in Blackburn North with WFH/Hybrid options available. 

About the role Reporting to the Senior Manager Cloud and IT Infrastructure the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Designing Cloud and related infrastructureArchitectural support, oversight and troubleshooting of application migration waves to public cloudSupporting identification and mitigation of cloud and security risks and issuesAnalysis of cloud usage to make recommendations for improved design  About you To be considered for this position you will possess:

A postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experienceOutstanding demonstrated written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed relationship management, interpersonal and influencing skills Whilst also having experience:

in an Enterprise or Emergency Services and/or Health Services organisationdeveloping application migration wave planswith cloud based Virtual Networking, Compute, Storage, Cost Management and addressing security controls and audit issues in the Cloudin architecting and implementing a secure Enterprise Cloud infrastructurelevering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in complicated designsin Enterprise cloud Landing Zones and migrations as well as Azure Native Security Serviceswith Microsoft Applications, Microsoft Azure, cloud design, Azure DevOps, Azure Repos/GIT, Azure Pipelines, CI/CD, ARM Templates, BiCep and/or Terraform Working at AV As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
