Please find the Health Advisor job description attached for further information. This is your chance to train to be aHealth Advisorin our111 contact centre, handling calls from members of the public. You'll learn how to use a state-of-the-art triage tool called NHSPathwaysto assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. Although these are not emergency calls, you'll also need to be prepared to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios and to arrange for 999 services if required. We offerenhanced pay rates for weekends, and are offeringpart-time weekend and evening contractsfrom 16 - 33.5 hours per week to cover our core shifts and assist patients when they need us most. Please note: If you are seeking a full time contract with us, we may be able to accommodate you if you are happy to work more weekend hours (this may mean working every weekend and taking days off during the week). NHS Pathway Training: We offerPathway and adastratraining, presented in a class room overfull-time programme that runs over a four week period(9:00am-5:00pm) orpart-time over a 6.5 week periodSat & Sun (9am-5pm) including Tues, Weds, Thurs (5pm-9.30pm). This extensive training equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments.This is paid at the rate of £11.48 per hour. Attendingevery training day is essential. This is followed by a further eight weeks' support before you are signed off as a fully accredited/licensed Pathways Health Advisor. Our next Training Dates are: Monday 8th April training dates - Full Time Saturday 4th May - Part Time Monday 7th May training dates - Full Time Shifts and Rates of Pay: £11.48 per hour- daytime and during training £14.27 per hour- Enhanced contractual night rate (23:00-0700)£14.77 per hour -Enhanced red zone weekend contractual night rate (23:00-0700) subject to T&C when working more than 26 hours per week.Location: Office basedatDelta 7, West Road, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich,IP3 9FH What you'll be doing
