About The Role DRA are currently seeking anLead Electrical Designer to join our team the Brisbane CBD. Working alongside a multi-disciplined engineering and design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for mineral processing plants, including gold, lithium and rare earths.

Brief key duties: Design and preparation of E&I detailed design drawings for mineral processing plantsCollaborate with the multi-disciplined engineering team to ensure that designs meet the project requirements and are in compliance with relevant codes and standardsAssist to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project-related documentationProvide technical support to other team members and clients as needed.You will have: Certificate or Diploma in Electrical and/or Instrumentation fields and/or an electrical trade qualificationMinimum 7 years of experience as an Electrical Designer, ideally within an engineering consultancy in the mining or mineral processing industryExtensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including AS/NZS 3000Competency in MicroStation and 2D design of SLDs, schematics, terminations, layouts and block diagramsCompetency in 3D Electrical and Instrumentation modelling - EssentialStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Here at DRA, we offer: Competitive and above market salary packages with regular market analysisA fresh & modern office in the Brisbane CBD with access to great end of trip facilitiesFlexible start and finish times allowing for great work life balanceA collaborative and supportive team environment with the tools to succeedThe opportunity to work alongside engineering and design excellenceWe value diversity and the benefits it brings to achieving our objectives, enhancing our reputation, and attracting, engaging, and retaining talented people.
