FIFO from East Coast on 8/6 roster while working on Mine Infrastructure (Mobile & Fixed equipment) in a permanent position.

About the Role: Step into the role as an experienced Electrical Engineer, as you drive electrical engineering services while overseeing critical mine infrastructure projects, for both fixed plant and mobile fleet equipment. Rotate on an 8/6 roster from any Capital city on the East coast (preference is Brisbane) depart on a Tuesday and return the following Wednesday. Have the choice of either camp or shared accommodation while on site. Focus primarily on High Voltage systems (80%) while also championing the enhancement of Instrumentation (20%) and Control Systems. Be rewarded with an attractive STI annual bonus program What you will be responsible for: Ensure unwavering statutory compliance with Mines regulations and Australian Standards, leaving no room for compromise. Conduct thorough inspections of installations and operations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring alignment with design specifications and stringent safety standards. Harness the power of engineering software like AutoCAD to execute intricate engineering tasks with precision. Drive projects to successful completion within budgetary constraints, while maximising plant/equipment availability to optimize operations. Revolutionise maintenance procedures to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and drive down costs. Education, Skills & Experience: Your background should boast expertise in heavy industry and processing plants, showcasing your invaluable experience in dynamic operational environments. Proficiency with PRONTO software, demonstrating your adeptness with industry-standard tools. Hold academic qualifications in Electrical Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution, (assessed by Engineers Aust.) Drive results with a values-driven approach, equipped with exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and influential skills. Lead by example as an active team member and inspiring leader, fostering open communication, sharing insights, and cultivating a positive and high-performing work culture.
