Working closely with the Senior Healthcare Programs Officer and the wider Healthcare Programs team, you will be integral to moderating the online peer support community and developing a network that is community led, highly engaging, safe and supportive. An essential member of the team, you will also assist in our Peer Support Strategy and other project work to help the team hit their goals in the improvement of health outcomes and quality of life for people living with heart disease and their family or carers.

Responsibilities

Utilise you project management skills to assist with the ongoing moderation, engagement and growth of the Heart Foundation's online peer support community. This includes maintaining policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clear process to the operation of the community.Oversee moderation of the online peer support community ensuring a safe virtual environment.Assist with the launch, promotion and evaluation of the Heart Foundation online peer support community, Support integration between the Heart Foundation's online peer support community and the MyHeart MyLife patient support program to create a mutually beneficial outcome for both programs.

Let's talk about you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Tertiary qualification in health (nursing, medicine, psychology or allied health) with demonstrated work experience caring for people with cardiovascular disease.Knowledge of the patient journey for people living with cardiovascular disease, with particular understanding of secondary prevention and ongoing support needsProject management, organisational and administrative skillsAbility to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including community engagementExcellent written communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsProficient digital skills with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams), as well as competence in social media applications such as Facebook including managing groups
