There's never been a more exciting time to be at Betterhalf.Your Growth:You'll experience Series B, C in 24-months.You'll see a 180-people team becoming a 250-people and will grab the rarest opportunity to be in the room where the company's decisions are planned with founders and business leaders.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead day to day financial operations, including for India and US CompanyFinancial operations to include vendor management (payments & proper GST collection), revenue assurance (invoicing, collections and receivables management)Responsible for managing the entire accounting, statutory filings and MIS reports of the CompanyPrepare financial statements, BRS and other MIS reports monthly, quarterly and annually. Payroll processing and Vendor payments with appropriate reconciliations and workingsGST / TDS workings and filings accuratelyBuilding processes and SOP related to Vendor payments and Customer receiptsManage US reporting, tax filings and India audits.Prepare budgets and ensure adherence to AOP by all departmentsRequirements:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with prior experience in the Accounts/Finance department2 - 3 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, Reporting, Audit, TaxationExpertise in financial accounting, reporting, statutory filings, making MIS reports and taxationExcellent clarity of Accounting principles and Revenue Recognition conceptsWorked in a high growth environment and independently handled complex projects with a result driven approach.Proficiency in Accounting softwares eg. Zoho, Tally, QuickbooksExcellent grasp of month end closure reports, making financial statements and Payroll processing Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plusExperience of knowledge in Transfer pricing and US GAAP accounting is a plusExpertise of working with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint and Google SheetsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Joining Date: Immediate/30-60 days, Preference: Joining in 30 daysIf you are looking to build and contribute to the mission of building the next-generation matrimony and wedding marketplace for urban Indians, please reach out.
