The Manager - Finance role will provide you exposure across functions and verticals as you help us set controls in place which will be critical when we are scaling up.For this role, we are looking for talented individuals with a stellar academic record, who can take risks and assume ownership of multiple projects under ambiguity. S/he will be equally comfortable doing C-Suite presentations and auditing journal entries to get to the root cause of a problem. The Manager - Finance would lead a team of Executives and needs to excel at managing processes.What you will do:Keeping a tab on overall supervision of various accounting and finance activities up to finalization of accounts. Periodic closing of P&L, Balance sheet, receivables, and payables, vouching and GL scrutiny, depreciation & compliances with TDS, sales tax, Audit and taxation.Monthly closing of P&L; reviewing all necessary journal entries, analysing cost & P&L variances, Balance sheet reconciliation, yield review, key matrix review, and investigating unusual items.Preparing Financial Statements under IND AS and reports as required under the relevant statute.Keeping track of the fixed assets register and keeping control strong control on the addition, deletion, or retirement of assetsProcess development & implementation across all company locations leveraging automation tools for efficiency & effectiveness and documentation thereof.Imparting training to various stakeholders in the organization on new processes.Cash flow & Fund flow management, Treasury managementFixed Assets management and related controlsInsurance and risk managementMIS preparationImplementing an internal control mechanismCoordination with Auditors, Government authorities, outsourced consultants, and other stakeholders.Ensuring control policies like Budget, Costing and Credit control policy are fully enforced and adhered, constantly vigilant, in the scope for reduction of costs through various means.Tax & other regulatory compliance managementWhat you will need:Qualified CA (First attempt holder)5-7 years of experience in Finance & Accounting background preferably in large format retail chain.Handling Indirect and Direct tax assessmentsUnderstanding of Ind As and accounting policiesAdvanced Excel skills required.Working knowledge of Accounting & Taxation software such as Zoho, etc.Prior experience of working ERP system will be an advantage PRB
