Senior Design Manager

Role and Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of architectural design for multiple projectsCoordinate with client teams for design intake, review discussions, feedback and reportingCoordinate with internal delivery teams for all phases of interior design projects including construction and handoverResponsible for the creation of concept drawings, working drawings, 3D renders, budgeting, scheduling, specification mapping and project planning.Implementing ideas, reviewing, developing and following up the design workflow within different teamsConduct site visits for due diligence and prepare site reportsPreparing test fits and mood boards for initial project proposals.Ensuring the design process adheres to current legislation, standards, codes of practice, and develop designs and drawings in accordance with the statutory and regulatory building requirements.Responsible for supervision and quality-control review of drawingsFollow up on the implementation of any necessary changes to the designs or drawingsEnsure that each design delivery is of the best quality and within timelines and budget considerations 2Ensure that the architectural design and working drawings are in accordance with ANSR design standards and PlaybookCoordination with project execution team for seamless delivery of projectsCarry out meetings with ANSR management team and deliver presentations for management meetingsMust Haves:Excellent and strong knowledge of local regulations and international codesAbility to function independently yet communicates laterally and upwardly with easeExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issuesExperience in handling projects with diverse and multiple internal/external stakeholders is crucialExcellent communication and Stakeholder Management is essentialManage work and deliver within a dynamic environmentExperience and Skills:Must have worked on large-scale commercial projects, preferably office interiorsProven working experience with an overall 8-10 years, including at least 3 years of experience of managing a design teamBachelors degree in Architecture is a must; Masters degree will be a plusProficiency in advanced AutoCAD, BIM platforms (Revit), MS Office suiteNote:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
