Applications Engineer, Co. Kildare Located in Naas, Co. Kildare, this role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced application engineer to contribute to the innovation, design, and development of digital inspection and measurement solutions. Key Responsibilities: Customer Support:

• Utilize product/service and application knowledge to address customer inquiries, challenges, and requests, enhancing company reputation as a solution provider.
• Provide technical support and training to global customers and channel partners in the manufacturing inspection industry.
• Develop user/technical documentation and training materials to enable customer self-sufficiency.
• Create and maintain FAQ databases to address common customer queries.

• Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions and reports for customers.
• Manage training on products and provide technical support for new sales opportunities.
• Attend tradeshows and visit customers onsite as needed.

• Conduct software testing and report bugs.

• Set up comparison experiments for evaluating new technology.
• Source components and accessories as required.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Quality Control, Sales, and Marketing) to resolve client issues and drive quality improvements.

• A 3rd level engineering qualification is desirable.
• Highly motivated professional with a strong commitment to providing solutions for customers' needs.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communicator capable of working closely with various departments and providing regular activity reports.
• Organized and dependable team player with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong influencing and presentation skills.

• This role requires availability to work at the company premises in Naas, Co. Kildare.
• A full clean driving license is essential.
• Note that this is not a hybrid working role.
