Deputy General Manager

•Getting the Agreement to sell drafted and help land team in registration of land and property documents; examination of title deeds of the property, vetting of Govt . records for 30 year+ of title, doing other land related checks in revenue records including any mortgage etc and establish the correct and unencumbered legal ownership of the same in favour of the seller before purchase of land from him.• Helping the land team in identification of lawyers and other consultants, as may be required, for getting the land record verification done from them, obtaining and vetting their reports and coordinating with them for the complete land procurement process.•Updating the list of legal & commercial documents generated in due course of land transactions for the company and arrange for their proper safe filing, uploading in company's software and their access•Advising and updating the management with regulatory and legal changes applicable to Property & Real Estate Business•Record keeping of legal notices, regulatory & compliances and all litigation matters. •Liaison with the government authorities such as SECI, MNRE, Discoms@State level, CERC & SERC.•Support filing of cases & defend cases filed against Company - criminal & Civil.•Facilitation and dispute resolution by recording and monitoring of all claims, disputes, notices etc. with respect to a contract, and collaboration with related teams, for resolution of the same.•Handle cases of S/138 cases, consumer case notices, recovery, defamation, attend court & liaison with advocates.•Experience in briefing Counsels in litigation matters including knowledge of functioning of Courts.•Liaise with external legal consultants for specific cases / issues/ contracts/ documentations/ legal advisory services as required and review the work done by them•Well networked with court & government authorities; manage all external legal interface; handle senior counselDesired Experience and Skills/Behaviors:11-15 years of working experience and must be a Law Graduate and expertise in land purchase and real estate matters.Should have good knowledge of land related laws including related revenue laws and associated procedures in various states,Should have exposure in multiple states PRB
