Design Manager Marketing

RESPONSIBILITIESTake charge and lead a small marketing design team and become more effective by incorporating best practicesSet team goals, measure performance, and elevate the quality bar of the team while taking ownership of deliverables. Expected to represent depth in the craft of visual design: as an individual contributor, as a mentor and guide for more junior colleagues, team and peer functionsTake leadership to express and communicate a brand through distinct graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and creative methods.Work in partnership with cross-functional leadershipOptimize on project management and maintain a high quality of deliverables from start to finishUnderstand and evolve the brand standards and guidelines of all productsExperience with diverse content and subject matterThe ability to clearly present your point of view, express ideas, and accept feedbackREQUIREMENTS7+ years of experienceCan work on website, branding projects, marketing campaigns, and social media video collateral.Strong understanding of design patterns, colour theory, typography, illustrations, and iconography with great attention to detail and consistencyDemonstrate senior working experience as a visual/UI designer with a strong portfolio supporting your meticulous attention to detailsKnowledge of design processes, particularly as applied to marketing deliverablesKnowledge of capabilities and limitations in Web development such as HTML and CSSIdeally worked in a startup or tech company to help adjust to the pace and autonomy at PlivoToolsProficiency in current design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, AI design tools, etc.Good old' pen and paper or whiteboarding to define concepts PRB
