People Policies and Processes forms the backbone of the overall system, and well-crafted policies and supporting processes are key to unlocking the org's potential and fostering a positive work culture.This role holder therefore has a pivotal role in shaping the culture of the organisation by designing, implementing and maintaining org-wide people policies and processes that not only enables the org to achieve its moonshots but also creates an awesome experience for its members.What will you be doing at Ather?As the Lead for People Policies & Processes within POPS, you'll be working on:PoliciesDeveloping and maintaining all policies and procedures which act as a guide for managers and team members on a range of people related practices, issues and decisionsA policy development approach which combines behavioural science, academic research, industry best practices, organisational data, stakeholder inputs and talent partner expertise. Ensuring policies and procedures are aligned with the core fabric of Ather's culture, thereby shaping an environment of high performance, fairness, inclusion and enhancing the employer brand.Facilitating periodic review of people policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant for the evolving needs of the organisation and reflect the latest practices in effective people management.Maintaining people policies and procedures to ensure they comply with new and existing legislation and regulatory requirements.Effectively using tech to enable managers and team members to find the people policies and procedures they are looking for quickly and easily.Interpreting policies to peers in POPS on complex people related matters and act as the single point of contact for all people policies & procedures during audits and due diligence.ProcessesEnsuring that every people policy is supported by a robust backend process to enable the execution of the policyDesigning and implementing Ather's people processes across the employment lifecycleContinuously monitoring and improving processes based on feedback received from internal POPS teams and Business stakeholdersCollaborating with internal POPS teams, cross functional teams & vendors to improve efficiency and dependability of critical POPS processes.Creating dashboards with relevant KPIs to assess effectiveness of deployed processesConducting FGDs with stakeholders to go through processes/ SOPs and perform any enhancements if necessaryTraining new POPS team members on relevant operational processes and proceduresWhat kind of experience and skills do you need for this role?4 to 6 years post qualification experience in HR A systems thinking mindset to policy and process developmentExcellent written communication skillsExperience of having worked in highly matrixed and agile organisationsExperience of having worked with senior leaders, cross functional teams and high performing individuals in a fast paced environmentSubject matter expertise across disciplines of organisational behaviour, organisational effectiveness & system dynamicsSuperb analytical skillsSome attributes you bring to this roleFor the 'Lead - People Policies & Processes' role, we are looking for someone who is great atEmbracing change - Can cope with the uncertainty and ambiguity of a young organisation and direct that skill in building robust systems than can stand the test of timeInteracting with people - Go-getters who can network and interact with a host of people, within and outside Ather, and use this data to shape policies & processesInviting feedback - Folks who value the importance of acknowledging and seeking criticism, encourage critical thinking, and gather feedback Convincing People - Amazing negotiators and persuasive communicators who can adopt perspectives that suit the situation, while also standing for ideas that support the organisationArticulating Information - Present with confidence and panache, can explain things to different audiencesWhat should you have graduated in?An MBA from a Tier 1/ 2 institute with a specialisation in HRA certification in Systems Thinking, Policy writing or Design Thinking would be a huge advantage PRB
