Deputy Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and guidelines.Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for financial optimization.Provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and present actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.Liaison with Tax Authorities for resolving notices issued.Coordinate audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and regulatory authorities.Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the finance department.Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's financial acumen and skills.Contribute to the development of financial strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives..Experience and Qualification:Qualified CA.Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or related roles.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.Working knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxes.Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Tally, Excel).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Leadership and team management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
