To continue this transformation, we're seeking an experienced Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud solutions architect with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud services, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge is key to keeping us on the cutting edge. From day one, you'll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.Cloud Architect Responsibilities: Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.Modifying and improving existing systems.Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.Develop and organize cloud systems.Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy and compliance policies.Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.Embedding DevSecOps models into automated pipeline deploymentsMaintain Budgets and expense reduction initiatives.Reporting for Cyber and Compliance.Infrastructure as Code utilizing CloudFormation, CDK and TerraformAutomation using AWS Config, Puppet, Chef or AnsibleRequired Skills and Qualifications: Degree in computer science or a similar field.At least 10 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.5+ years of infrastructure experience.3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.Experience with CI/CD systems.Experience with SecOpsExperience with DevOps.Strong Networking, Active Directory, and DNS experienceStrong Experience with CloudFormation, CDK and Terraform Strong Experience with Automation and Configuration tools (Chef, Ansible, Terraform)Experience supporting applications (installations, configurations, SQL, IIS, load balancers)Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred.Datadog experience is a plusTroubleshooting and analytical skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Client management skills.At C&F you will BELONGWe value inclusivity and diversity.
