If you're a dynamic leader with a passion for driving growth, building relationships, and making a real impact, we want you at the helm of our team!About us: Since 1987, Promark Electronics has specialized in the manufacture of wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, complete enclosures for a wide variety of industries, including industrial equipment, medical technology, aerospace, defense and communications applications, and since 2016 electrification, under the ProEV ™ banner.In 2021, we become part of the Electrical Components International (ECI) multi-national, an established manufacturing company with over 1.5B$ in annual revenue.To better address the needs of our clients, we have just created the Electrification and Advanced Connectivity Business Unit encompassing several of our businesses/facilities, including Promark Electronics (PMK), ProEV, Aerosystems International (ASI) and Rochester Industrial Controls (RIC).About the role: Reporting to the President of the Electrification and Advanced Connectivity Business Unit, the Commercial Director will lead all commercial efforts, identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business for Promark Electronics, ProEV, Aerosystems International (ASI) and Rochester Industrial Controls (RIC) through proactive market research, networking, and relationship-building activities.You will also work closely with the VP of Finance and the Presidents of each entity in a strategic capacity to develop and implement comprehensive business strategies. Prioritization of revenue growth and market expansion in the aerospace/space market, industrial equipment, medical technology, defense, and EV sectors. In this role you will also: Develop, maintain, and manage a robust pipeline of prospective customers and partners. Oversee and strategize for submission of competitive proposals, bids, and tender responses. Lead negotiations for new contracts, agreements, and partnerships. Provide strategic direction to internal Sales and Programs teams from each entity within the business unit. We expect you to make it happen - the how will be up to you, but you will not be alone on this journey. Each business unit will help you win new business and execute on production of products based on the best fit. What are we looking for?Minimum Qualifications:Proven track record of successfully pursuing and executing on new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets over the course of several years in a related industry. Deep understanding of aerospace and defense market dynamics, including regulatory requirements, procurement processes, and key industry players. Industry contacts in these sectors is ideal.Native English Level with exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (within Canada, USA & possibly internationally).Our unicorn candidate:Holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
