Responsiblity:Analyzing,interpreting, and monitoring the geological formation data toascertain the extraction risks and the best methods ofextraction.Using surveys, testing, andanalysis to evaluate new reservoirs to determine profits and tocreate low-cost drilling and extractionplans.Generating computer-simulated models fordrilling formation and equipment, ensuring and designing the besttools and equipment for extraction, and managing machinery andproduction costs.Determining the mostefficient way to drill through internal divisions for afree-flowing single well.Determining the mostefficient way to fracture shale beds to free the gas oroil.Overseeing ongoing production operations,ensuring the efficient extraction and drilling, and ensuringextraction and transportation respect safety and environmentalregulations.Maintaining on-site drilling andpumping equipment.Developing and refiningmethods of extracting more petroleum from existingwells.Overseeing the removal of thecompany's equipment, the sealing of the reservoir, and thedisposal of waste materials once the reservoir has beenexhausted.
