Application Support Analyst

My client is a leading legal firm looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing support, maintenance, and administration of critical enterprise applications within the firm. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and administration of enterprise applications used within the firm. Act as a DBA, offering support and administration of database platforms primarily on MS SQL. Support the migration of applications from on-premise data centers to MS Azure. Offer support for all other applications used globally including SharePoint 2010, on-prem applications and legal technology applications. Responsibilities also include configuration, deployment, and patching of software. Provide technical expertise for projects as required. Manage and maintain systems and services to ensure they are fit for purpose and available at all required times. Maintain and optimize applications and infrastructure, including building new releases into production. Qualifications: Minimum 2/3 years of IT experience with at least 1 year in a 3rd line role. Experience working within the professional services sector is highly desirable. Ability to operate effectively within a wider team environment. Detailed practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services within a Microsoft technology environment.
