Senior QA Engineer (Web3/Blockchain)

Job Description: As the blockchain technology evolves, our team injects fresh innovative energy into the Web3 space and develops cutting-edge mobile applications. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will ensure that the applications we develop for iOS and Android platforms meet the highest quality standards before going live. You will have comprehensive skills, which include testing extensive mobile app backend services as well as in-depth auditing of smart contracts and blockchain technology. The ideal candidate we seek must play a leadership role in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our products are successfully launched through a comprehensive testing and quality assurance process. Key Responsibilities: 1. Take on the leadership role in formulating and executing a comprehensive QA strategy for iOS and Android apps, reinforcing the quality of backend services and blockchain integrations. 2. Design and implement extensive test plans, incorporating both automated and manual test cases, to thoroughly validate the performance, security, and availability of the mobile applications. 3. Conduct tests using real devices and simulators to ensure software compatibility across different platforms and devices. 4. Monitor app transaction processes, architecture, and security, with a particular focus on the integration of smart contracts and decentralized system components. 5. Establish and maintain automated test frameworks to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency. 6. Work closely with the development team to track and remediate defects in a timely manner, ensuring on-schedule delivery of high-quality product iterations. 7. Apply agile methodologies to the QA process and assist in maintaining the quality of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2. At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including extensive backend testing knowledge for iOS and Android mobile applications. 3. A minimum of 2 years of QA experience in the Web3 or blockchain space. 4. Proficient in at least one mobile app automation testing framework (e.g. Appium, Espresso, XCTestUI). 5. Extensive experience in smart contract testing, including practical knowledge on platforms like Ethereum, Stellar, and Solana. 6. Deep understanding of cryptographic technologies, including wallet integration and token exchanges. Bonus Points: 1. In-depth understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend technology stacks. 2. Experience using and managing CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI. 3. Deep understanding of agile development processes and practices, like Scrum or Kanban. 4. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Kotlin.
