100% remotejobSupervisor Apparel GroupQatarJob description /RoleEmployment:FullTimePOSITION OBJECTIVE: The Shift Supervisorposition is operational in nature and involves the supervision ofteam member activities on shift to ensure that standards aroundpeople product cleanliness and Exceptional Guest Experience arefulfilled.KeyResponsibilities:PeopleManagementLeads by example and demonstrates theimportance of treating every team member and guest withrespectReacts immediately to issues requiringattention during the shiftProvides ongoingspecific direction to team membersEncouragesan exciting and fun work environment while motivating team membersto meet goalsTrains orientates and monitorsnew team membersReports to Store Manager onteam member performance (positive ornegative)Assists in ensuring optimal teammember coverage at all times and works various positions duringbusy periods to maintain optimal service levels throughdemonstrated floorleadershipHospitalityManagementLeads by example to demonstrate thatthe guest is top priority and reinforces positive hospitalitybehaviors with team membersResponds to guestin a friendly manner while maintaining an appropriate sense ofurgencyResponds to guest service complaints ina timely manner resolving problems and turning potentially negativesituations into positivesituationsOperationsManagementComplies with and enforces all TimHortons operating standardsEnsures that allproduct and packaging is properly merchandised andstockedResponsible for shift cashproceduresMaintains operational efficiencythrough use of the work scheduleSupervisesteam members to ensure primary and secondary duties arecompletedEnsures all store policies arefollowed during the shift (e.g. cash policies meal and breakpolicies food safety policies)Keeps current onall new information (i.e. new product launched promos and discountschemes)Assists the Store Manager in drivingsales and transactions during theirshiftCompletes all required shiftdocumentation (e.g. records waste mgr. walk thru store checklistetc.)Escalates to immediate superior anyissues and orproblemsHealth &SafetyKnows understands and follows safe workpractices and proceduresUses or wears personalprotective equipment or clothing asrequiredReports all injuries/illness accidentsunsafe conditions security incidents and any contravention ofhealth and safety legislation policies and procedures to the StoreManager or Area ManagerDoes not operate anyequipment machine device or thing or otherwise work in a mannerthat will endanger anyoneEnsures health andsafety policies are followed during the shift includingdocumentation and reporting of any work related injuries oraccidentsCashieringSupervisesand ensures that technical equipment in the stores are in workingconditionCount money in the cash till at thebeginning of the shifts to ensure that amount is correct and thereis adequate changeReceives payment by cashcredit cards vouchers or automatic debits wheneverrequiredIssues receipts refunds or change tothe customers correctly wheneverrequiredMaintains clean & orderlycheckoutareasAbout theCompany:The Apparel Group is a global fashionand lifestyle brand conglomerate residing on the crossroads of amodern economy Dubai UAE.
