We sell primarily to garment manufactures.  We are looking to hire a jr tech, on contract, primarily to troubleshoot and service Large plotters onsite (fieldwork), at our customer's location, with a majority in Toronto.   The candidate will also need to install software and trouble shoot software issues.  The candidate must have experience with technical/mechanical servicing large format plotters.Also, a good computer and electronic background from either work experience or a related college program.  We are looking at 2-3 onsite service jobs per week, to start, with training. As the onsite service grows, so will the jobs per week. Depending on the candidate, we would like to then transition into troubleshooting and servicing more complicated machinery such as automatic cutting machines and spreaders.   Hourly rate will increase with more complicated machinery.  The candidate must have their own transportation, Achieva will compensate for travel time. Having a positive, open, and collaborative culture is paramount, resulting in a work environment that is engaging and rewarding. About You: ·       You are a creative thinker and love solving problems·       You are a graduate of a technical college or Program, specializing in mechanical, computer and software training·       You are willing learn and grow and take on more responsibility, with Achieva   What You'll Do: ·       Begin with familiarization of the Hardware and Software that we sell and support·       Shadow training for 1-2 weeks, with 50% hourly wage compensation·         Position Details ·       Contract position, work approx. 2-3 days per week as needed·       $20/hour to start + travel expenses if candidate uses their own vehicle ·       After 3 months hourly rate moves to $25 per hour + travel expense ·       Shadow Training to start at $10 per hour + travel expense·       Contract position, but may transition in the future to full time + benefits
