Leveraging your seniorleadership experience and expertise in category management, youwill drive strategic initiatives to expand our product offerings,optimize supplier relationships, and enhance the overall customerexperience.(Some Of) What You Will Be DoingDevelop and executecomprehensive strategies to drive growth and profitability acrosselectronics, pharmacy, flowers, and lifestyle beautycategories.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with keysuppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and agreementsto ensure a diverse and high-quality product assortment.Identifyopportunities to expand our product portfolio within each category,staying abreast of market trends and customer preferences.Implementpricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue andprofitability, monitoring performance metrics and makingdata-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.Collaborateclosely with cross-functional teams including marketing,operations, and technology to ensure seamless integration andexecution of marketplace initiatives.Lead and mentor a team ofcategory managers and analysts, providing guidance and support todrive professional development and achieve departmentalgoals.Conduct regular performance reviews and analysis of categoryperformance, identifying areas for improvement and implementingcorrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements and quality standards across all product categories,maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction andtrust.Attitude matters most but do you have any ofthese?Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.7-8 years ofexperience in e-commerce, retail, or marketplace management, with afocus on category leadership and growth.Proven track record ofsuccess in developing and executing strategic initiatives to driverevenue and profitability.Strong analytical skills and proficiencyin data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintaineffective relationships with internal and externalstakeholders.Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability tolead and inspire teams to achieve objectives in a fast-pacedenvironment.Knowledge of the Gulf market and consumer preferencespreferred.
