The purpose of this role is the selection of new technologies and the effective design of platforms to achieve the required business value via sound architecture principles.Scale: True global reach, interactions covering all levels (including executive levels), delivery of value with $4 of Ms of potential outcome.Responsible for developing common architecture consisting of information, data, application and technology architecture layers for effectively and efficiently realising enterprise and IT strategies by creating key models and practices that describe the baseline and target architectures.Working at NTTKey Roles and Responsibilities:Participate in the global process to manage new technology ideas and demands, providing research, analysis, design review and recommendations to leadershipProvide design support to projects and business groups in order to ensure efficient and safe technology architectures are deliveredProactively managing global leader stakeholder in a matrixed organization; developing a trust advisor and teaming approachCollaborating with the team to identify, select and implement appropriate solutionsMonitor and research emerging innovation with a view to determining functionality that may provide business value.Validate and prioritise the enterprise architecture implementation and migration planConfirm transition enterprise architecture increments and phasesDefine enterprise architecture implementation governanceUpdate architecture RepositoryCompile enterprise architecture implementation roadmapObtain approval of architecture roadmapDefine domain architecture implementation governanceCompile domain architecture implementation roadmapValidate and prioritise the domain architecture implementation and migration planConfirm transition domain architecture increments and phasesFull technology solutions architecture lifecycle, including requirements-gathering, vendor selection, design, costing, and non-functional optionalityFormidable team working skills across matrixed client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teamsExperience in the effective and efficient operation of IT infrastructure and applications services in multi-national companiesExperience in delivery that includes the use of external supplier and offshore resourcesExperience in the development of technology and system strategies and roadmaps to address business strategy.Experience in the development of effective standards and policies governing IT matters.Experience in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across a culturally and geographically diverse organization.Proven business and financial acumen.Experience in the mentoring and development of staff membersAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in IT related fieldsCertifications preferred but not requiredTOGAF or equivalent Architecture qualificationMDP / MBA or equivalent management qualificationRequired Experience:8+ years in a corporate IT environment, in senior leadership roles8+ years' experience in IT technology architectureExperience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure)Skills SummaryConsulting, End-to-End Testing, Solutions Design, Solutions Development, Technical SolutionsWhat will make you a good fit for the role?
