Sales Reporting Analyst

Job Purpose:The purpose of the role is to analyse sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support the sales team Minimum Requirements:Matric/ Grade12 Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field3+ years' experience in finance, accounting, or sales analytic roles.Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite Oracle Dynamic 365), Microsoft Excel, and database management tools Main Responsibilities:Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and forecastsMaintain product and pricing information on customer portals and internallyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and support strategic initiativesConduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and positioningProvide recommendations for pricing optimization, product mix, and territory allocationMonitor sales performance against targets and provide regular performance updates to stakeholdersAssist in the development of sales strategies, including target Key Skills and Competencies:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrityEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organizationProven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of statistical techniques and forecasting methods is desirableExcellent organisational skills
