These jobs were popular with other job seekersOur client based on the North Coast near Stanger is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, must come from a Electronics Manufacturing (prefer in automotive component) background with solid Management experience of Engineering, Production, Projects experience within a Electronics Manufacturing Plant or have Mechatronics experience at a Management Level.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage Engineering/Production as follows: Provides support/guidance to the team and deals with general problems on an ongoing basis for the effective running of the equipment in the Combi Meter Department. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing progress. Setup and facilitate internal and external project meetings and document the discussions. Tracking CAPEX budget Targets VS Actual and providing reports to management on progress and commissioning of equipment to production. Manage and implement improvement plans. Ensure Health & Safety regulations within Department. Desired Experience & Qualification Bachelor's degree/National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering ( Essential ) BSc Engineering or BTech or other Tertiary Engineering qualification in Mechatronics (Preferred) 5 years' experience in the automotive environment. 3 - 5 years' experience in a management/leadership role position ( Essential) Knowledge of Project Management principles ( Essentia l) Knowledge of Failure modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) ( Essential ). Working knowledge of Pneumatics, programming and maintaining of Manufacturing equipment Leading & Supervising Analysing Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations Applying Expertise & Technology APQP system (Advanced Product Quality Planning) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
