We drive business value, create socialvalue and improve the lives of our customers andemployees.OverviewThe Warehouse Hose Assembler is responsible for filling customerorders according to sales order specifications and relies oninstructions and pre-established guidelines to perform theessential functions of the job. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for filling customer orders in a manner that meetscompany standards by obtaining merchandise of hose and relatedfittings from floor or shelf location and ensures the completenessand correctness of all orders filled. Mayoperate materials handling equipment and light fabricating handtools or forklift. Assemble and repairhoses of various shapes, sizes, chemical use andpressures.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of related experience with trades such as autoparts assembly, plumbing, construction or industrial market. Somehose assembly experience or working knowledge aplus.Has knowledge ofcommonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within aparticular field.OtherAttributesHighSchool Diploma orequivalentMustbe able to read and interpret tapemeasureMustbe able to read and write English / BilingualpreferredAbilityto work independently as well as in a teamenvironmentCollaborativeproblem-solverStrongmath skills add and subtract fractions and calculatepercentagesExcellentattention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skillsrequiredPhysicalDemands and WorkEnvironmentEmployeeis regularly required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, orcrawl and frequently required to use hands andfingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms;climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move upto 75 pounds. Employee is regularlyexposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. Theemployee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts andoutside weather conditions.
