Operational • Perform activitiesrelated to financial accounting including accounting of newbusiness transactions in compliance with IFRS and timely completionof audits both external and internal. • Responsible forthe preparations of financial statements of assigned business asper IFRS. • Perform procedures to identify accounting gapsby reviewing General Ledger schedules and reporting the gaps to theconcerned teams as per defined format. • Updating of chartof accounts by opening, closing, enabling and disabling generalledger codes as per the classification in the financial statements• Perform month-end closing processes by setting closingtimelines in consultation with teams, ensure books are closed asper agreed timelines and all of the closing activities arecompleted by respective teams accurately. • Performforeign currency revaluations of accounts payable, receivables andbank balances. • Ensure accuracy of periodic systemreports by proper reconciliations of different modules within ERPand other reporting tools and liaise with different stakeholders inall the departments to ensure accurate data capturing andreporting. • Review and prepare analyses of potential newbusiness ventures to evaluate adequacy of supporting business case.• Perform other department duties related to his/herposition as directed by the Head of the Department.
