Accredited professional degree in Interior Design or related field Typically 7 to 10+ years of experience Experience with programs that will translate your design vision to the team, ie. Photoshop, SketchUp and InDesign graphic software preferred, but not limited to Successful track record with collaborating in a team and performing duties in a fast-paced environment Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through to post-occupancy Knowledge of the appropriate use of building systems, materials and technologies Knowledge of furniture, furnishings and equipment (FF&E) and to oversee and check that the correct products get specified Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
