JOB INTRODUCTION We are looking for a (Extra Low Voltage Systems) Sales Engineer for our Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Division . Reporting to the Divisional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for bringing in new businesses and generating sales for a portfolio of accounts to achieve annual sales targets. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on Service Sales business such as AMC, equipment upgrades, replacements and create sales or service contracts for products or services.
- Assist in the development of ESS Sales Strategy for the country and provide the sales forecast
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
- Maintain sales forecasting reports, document account activities,and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
- Track sales budgets weekly & monthly and review the progress and short fall.
- Carrying out job audits, understanding or creating customer needs, selecting contribute to achieving department’s business objectives by meeting assigned goals
- Manage major accounts, build and maintain relationships with clients and identify service business opportunities.
- Aggressively pursue service contract conversion for systems and systems with other makes that we have capability to maintain.
- Aggressively promote retrofit, upgrade, expansion, spare and spot offering.
- Build consultant / contractor relationships to secure mini project business in UAE.
- Provides supports to the after sales manager in answering product queries to meet the customer
- requirement.
- Ensure smooth conversion of the free maintenance offers into maintenance contracts.
- Identify resale opportunities and support them to achieve sales plans.
- Follow up on maintenance contracts and renewals.
- Follow up the lost service contract with customers.
- Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments.
- Adherence to the Quality Management System procedures and its performance
- Candidates currently living in Bahrain will be given preference.
- Engineering degree holder in Electrical, Electronics or any equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in service sales role in Security Systems and Extra Low Voltage systems industry.
- Possess thorough understanding of gross margin, costing and budgeting.
- Possess sufficient knowledge of Low Current Systems like Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, Intruder Alarm Systems, Video Analytics, etc.
- Able to understand engineering drawings
- Must possess strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation abilities.
- Business and industry knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Energetic and confident
- Must have a valid Bahrain driving license
