Each problem is an opportunity to find a solutionAn inclusive, respectful, and kind attitude towards team members no matter their culture, race, or genderCommitted to the vision and fundamental values of the companyA loyal brand advocate at work and in lifeFilled with passion for our local food eco system and want to help drive changeROLE RESPONSIBILITIESBrand Representation:Act as the primary representative for the company's products within retail environmentsShowcase and demonstrate products to potential buyers, ensuring a positive and compelling presentationWork closely with all retail partners to ensure seamless logistics, timely product delivery, and optimal shelf placementBusiness DevelopmentResearch and analyze market trends and competitors to identify potential new business opportunitiesDevelop and implement strategies to expand the business, including identifying potential new markets, developing new products and services, and creating new business modelsProduct Demonstrations:Execute product demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and applicationsEngage customers through interactive demonstrations, answering inquiries and encouraging product trialsSales Strategy Development:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targetsAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growthCustomer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfactionProvide ongoing support to retailers to maximize product visibility and salesMarket Research:Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activitiesUtilize market insights to make recommendations for product improvements and market positioningROLE QUALIFICATIONSSignificant previous experience in retail sales, with a focus on deli departments and distribution chainsStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the food service sector.Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Familiarity with food safety regulations, certifications, and industry best practices.Sales leadership or sales associate certification is an assetExcellent knowledge of MS Office and ERPsWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive benefits and a compensation structure that meet and exceed market demands.
