As a Procurement Category Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement process for specific categories of goods or services. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate procurement activities, contribute to cost savings efforts, and ensure the delivery of quality products and services. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in analytical skills, and a willingness to learn about procurement strategies and market dynamics within their assigned category. • Cultivating Collaborative Networks: The opportunity to develop strong collaborative and productive relationships and networks within and outside own team, fostering connections that drive productivity and innovation.

• Empowering Procurement Excellence: Support the team on projects and new requests, helping resolve issues or in making recommendations.
• Contract & Paperwork Excellence: Ensure the completeness of relevant paperwork, (contracts, MNDA, finance setup forms, etc.) from suppliers for awarded services.
• Insightful Updates: Regularly prepare informative reporting updates that the team performance and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Data Expertise: Generate reporting for the team, extracting essential data from various sources.
• Strategic Insights: Assists with the analysis of current procurement activities and recommend improvements through more efficient procurement policies, and innovative ideas.

• Learning Pathways: Contribute to procurement strategies for assigned categories, aligning with the overarching goals of the organization.
• Policy Adherence: Uphold Workhuman's company policies and internal processes, ensuring that procurement activities are carried out with the utmost integrity.
• Supplier Engagement : Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, and delivery considerations.
• Seamless Integration: Manage the process of uploading data, documents, and other relevant information into designated systems for your assigned categories, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

The Skills you will bring  

• Entry-level experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related field.
• Curiosity about procurement strategies, market dynamics, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work on data analysis and basic reporting.
• Able to manage tasks with guidance, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.

• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude for collaborating with different team members.
