Business Support Specialist (IT)

Our client in the mining industry is looking for a well experience Business Support Specialist with IT and sustainability experience to join their team for a 6month secondment. This role provides global system solutions, and other technologies, for enterprise wide business requirements in the Sustainability and Capital Projects function, is responsible for ensuring technical alignment to the functional operating model. Further supports the Solution Lead in ensuring that the functional system solution adheres to leading practice.Tactical with a major focus on continuous improvement of systems in order to maximise operational delivery.Responsibilities: Collaborate with different stakeholders at the various operations to have a good understanding of the operational technologies for sustainability and capital projectsEngage with manager, Business Process Custodian (BPC) and Regional Process Owners (RPOs) on continuous business improvement opportunitiesFocus is on Continuous improvement rather than day to day incidentsAnalyse business requirements, interpret and capture them in a business requirements document (BRD)Assist in the functional preparation of Business Process Procedures and Documents, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation and User manualsEffective management of Incidents/Requests/Changes/Problems and Config requirementsIdentify gaps in current global/ local business processes and ensure optimisationParticipate in regional governance structuresReview quality assurance activities for the functional area. i.e., regression testing, testing of change requests and bug fixesWork with the Business Lead to manage AGA requirements from Third Party non-SAP suppliers i.e., interfaces to the applicationWork with the Global Access and GRC team to ensure process optimisation, regional "fit" and compliance with statutory requirements, legislative regulations, policies, work standards and governance requirementsRequired: Completed IT related Degree/DiplomaAt least 5 years experience in ESH and ESG processes or similar roleIn-depth understanding of the Sustainability landscapeExperience in change management, system integration and solution designGlobal experience If you are looking for an exciting new challenge, apply today.
