Forklift Driver

RequirementsGrade 12 (passed and completed)Valid forklift operator certification/license.Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate equipment in a variety of environmental conditions.Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse or worksite.Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices, ensuring proper stacking and securing for transport.Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and various workstations as required.Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting the movement of materials and products.Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to established safety protocols.Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, cleaning work areas, and performing other duties as assigned.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient operations.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to quality control and compliance.Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of forklift operation and safety practices. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU DONT RECEIVE FEEDBCAK IN 2 WEEKS, NOTE YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL.
