Execution of projects.Oversee the dayshift team tasks and effectiveness.Issue RFQ's for projects and manpower.Plan and schedule equipment maintenance.Ordering of commoditiesProvide technical support to the production teams.Conduct safety and FPS audits.Assist in driving safety initiatives.Troubleshooting and fault finding.Identify and execute plant improvement projects.Assist in the planning and execution of plant shutdowns.Assist in developing and updating operating procedures.Ensure equipment inspection files is up to date. Qualifications: B-Eng./ BSc Degree (NQF 8/10) in Chemical EngineeringGovernment Certificate of Competency (Preferable) Experience and Requirements: Minimum 5 years' relevant experienceGood understanding of engineering processesGood under of fluid flow and heat transfer.Good understanding of mechanical equipment such as pumps, turbines and heat exchangers.Preferably experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.Conducting RCA's.Ability to interpret technical drawings.Ability to correlate and analyze plant data.Good knowledge and application of faultfinding.
