Singtel, an established and the leading operator of high-quality Data Centres in Singapore is on the lookout for new talents to join the team as we seek to grow our Data Centres portfolio in Singapore and regionally. We are looking for a Commissioning & Quality Assurance Director to manage our data centre delivery for our regional expansion. You will be a key member of the in-house construction team, making an impact in several ways:

• Manage data centre commissioning project delivery strategy in alignment with the SingTel Road map strategy.
• To ensure we deliver to our customers on time and on budget.
• Provide engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
• Ensure that commissioning activities meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Implement quality assurance processes and conduct audits to assess compliance.
• Plan and oversee the testing and verification of systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with relevant teams to address and resolve problems.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports for stakeholders, highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Provide training to staff and stakeholders on commissioning processes, standards, and best practices.
• Support on both internal & external design / project teams on any commissioning and quality issues.
• Develop in-house commissioning plan across our data centres build in the region.
• Participate in the MEP design process.
• Interact with contractors, interpreting design and specifications.
• Collaborate with external construction and commissioning teams.
• Conduct site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications.
• Prepare punch list reports and determines corrective measures for on-site problems.
• Develop Basis of Commissioning documents to communicate design intent externally and internally.
• Familiarise with codes, local project regulations, construction practices and the latest equipment functional concepts.

Skills for Success

• Atleast 15+ years’ experience in MEP testing & commissioning delivery in industrial / commercial projects.
• 10+ years’ experience in data centre testing & commissioning projects in the Asia Pacific market will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and foresight to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
• Exceptionally flexible and forward-thinking as you must be ready for continuous change in direction.
• Willing to make decisions and be accountable for them.
• Excel at communication and can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers and management.
• Willing to travel to other APAC regions on a regular basis.
