One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuildingindustry is currently seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Innovation & Technology Director to be based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Overview: Manage and maintain partnerships whilst ensuring the availability of the supporting and enabling requirements. In addition, managing the expansion of the organization's innovationopportunities, new products and services cultivation, and new business lines. Strategic Responsibilities:

Align division goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements.
Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities:

Managing the organization'sstrategic partnerships with external parties by setting policies and procedures, also setting and developing strategies for the long-term partnerships in coordination with relevant internal parties.
Manage working relationships with JVs and potential partners and conduct the initial deal structuring and any analysis or assessments needed for stakeholders approval.
Drive the development and execution of an operational plan to establish a strategic partnership and alliances model and sub-strategy.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners.
Continuously oversee and review the effectiveness and benefits of strategic partnerships and alliances.
Oversee preliminary deal structuring including the preparation of MOUs, deal and partnership or collaboration framework key terms.
Oversee research and development activities for potential innovation and strategic partnerships alongside emerging technologies and trends.
Manage new opportunities for innovation and introducing new products and services to the holding whilst considering synergies and collaboration with existing offerings.
Manage the exploring and identifying of new market segments activities to establish new business lines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Management or any other similar field.
12+ years of experience in related field including 6 years in a leadership role
Master's Degree in Management or any other similar field is preferred
