Practical Information: Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia |Team Size: 30 | Reports to: Heads of Data Platforms & Engineering | Language Requirements: English and Arabic , written and spoken. As our new Senior Data Engineer, your primary goal will be to design and implement data platform solutions to make insights available to business. As such, you will i mplement data ingestion and transformation pipelines using a combination of technologies, including git , SQL , Spark , Cloud , or Big data technology stacks Other responsibilities will include:

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business and operational requirements and translate them into well-defined Data & AI architectures.
Write technical proposals and present to customer, as well as lead customer engagements on Data & AI projects
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on data and AI technologies, trends, and best practices.
Design and implement data platforms solutions that meet our internal standards and best practices for high-scale cloud and on-prem environments.
Identify data sources, design, and integrate data entities that meet the requirements of the business stakeholders

Your Competencies:

Proven experience in designing and delivering data platform solution architectures
Deep understanding of data lake and data warehousing solutions
Experience with Spark, Hadoop , and the related ecosystem of technologies
Experience with Python , ETL, SQL, NoSQL and stream orchestration (i.e Kafka)

About You:

Ability to work in a cross-functional team and collaborate with Solution Architects, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers
Great communication skills and comfortable engaging with clients at various levels, including business executives, IT stakeholders, and technical/non-technical teams.
Excellent analytical skills , with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
