Role Overview: As the Assistant Manager - Leisure & MICE, you'll be responsible for curating, managing, and optimizing our travel offerings. From designing tailor-made holiday packages and coordinating MICE events to developing school trip itineraries, your role will be instrumental in crafting unforgettable journeys for our clientele. Key Responsibilities: Crafting bespoke holiday packages and fixed departure tours aligned with customer preferences and budgets. Managing end-to-end MICE programs, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with client objectives. Collaborating with educational institutions to design enriching school trip itineraries. Working on product planning and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. Developing marketing strategies and engaging promotional materials to enhance program visibility. Providing exceptional customer service and overseeing the booking process for clients and partners. Financial management, budgeting, and revenue analysis for travel programs. Implementing quality control measures and adhering to regulatory requirements. Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality management, or related fields. Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in various travel sectors, with at least three years in a management capacity. Strong on negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in travel management tool and financial acumen. Flexibility for travel and adeptness in meeting deadlines under pressure. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Prepare and achieve the annual leisure department budget for 2024. Handle a minimum of 100 tour passengers monthly and 250 during peak periods. Schedule a minimum of two fixed departures monthly and enhance frequency during peak travel seasons. Cultivate relationships and secure a minimum of five school groups in 2024. Organize at least two MICE events per quarter and facilitate cruise cabin sales through effective marketing plans. Package & Benefits: Gross Package: 6000 QAR, paid by the 10th of the following month. Additional benefits include a car allowance of 1000 QAR, fuel allowance, health card, leave salary, and end-of-service benefits as per Qatar labor laws. Performance reviews every six months with salary adjustments. Opportunities for privilege leave and sponsored company tickets.
