Your Impact: At Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies. The Team Lead Renewable Energy Philippines (solar, wind, hydro, BESS) is responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services in the Philippines and support business in APAC and globally. •Develop Jacobs’ capabilities and reputation o Manage a team of energy experts with focus on renewable energies o Representing Jacobs at key thought leadership events. o Deliver technically excellent engineering consultancy services. o Facilitate independent design/review/assurance on Projects. o Manage projects delivering on cost, on time, and resulting in client satisfaction. o Maintain compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process. o Mentor and facilitate the technical development of the team to meet market requirements. o Engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching. •Support business development, with a focus on renewable generation and support the win of the opportunities o Works with the Section Leader to achieve mutual work/business goals o Establishes and maintains relationships within the industry (e.g., prospects, past clients, regulators, suppliers) o Deliver projects to a successful outcome for clients and Jacobs o Enhance our reputation with clients through strong service delivery o Build trusted relationships with clients o Builds business development skills o Promote a client focused culture when working within the team o Bid preparation and submittals as required, support section leader, project managers in the delivery of financially successful projects. · Provide broad technical support specific to wider team around generation, including concept design, feasibility studies, technical specifications, Owners Engineer and project management. · Promote safety culture within the organisation and with our clients. o Be engaged in the safety culture of Jacobs and promote safety in all aspects of project delivery. o Proactively manage the HSE requirements on projects. Works collaboratively with other team members to deliver goals and targets of the team, section, and Performance Unit.Attend client meetings where possible to gain an understanding of the relationships that we aspire to maintain. Lead the team at meetings.Ensure tasks undertaken are understood completely before stating.Touch base with Team/Section Lead periodically to ensure that you are on the right track.Monitor time taken as well as forward workload to ensure that Lead is aware of any upcoming capability.Meet and balance scope of deliverables with time allocation. You will support your Performance Unit to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.
