The Role As an AREA SALES OFFICER, you are responsible for the overall achievement of assigned area’s sales targets by generating and sustaining turn-ins and approvals from Branch Banking Group (BBG), Wholesale-to-Retail (W2R) teams, Group Sale accounts, SBC/CBDOG accounts, personal and external partner leads. Support business development through roll-out of leads generation and productivity strategies, bulk acquisition, and process enhancement projects. How you'll contribute

  • Maintains good working relationships with partners thru collaborative planning and BetterBanking experience to ensure service satisfaction and sustain business growth
  • Coordinates with support units for process enhancements to provide partners with Betterbanking experience, high approval rates and ensure SLAs are within TAT
  • Generate and provide weekly MIS reports to Areas and Branches, including qualitative reports that improve Approval Rate (e.g. Incomplete)
  • Assist in providing acquisition support to assigned area such as application forms, booth, giveaways, and other marketing materials
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners for strategy, execution and relationship management
  • Deepen product knowledge and presence with partners through visits, regular alignment, recognition events, trainings and other activation initiatives to sustain referral engagement and productivity
  • Facilitates credit card presentation to clients referred by partners or through personal contacts and facilitates retail cross-sell
  • Solicits card acquisition deals as business opportunities from existing and prospective accounts of BBG, W2R, CBDOG, other SBC segments and external partners
  • Execute sales generation and bulk acquisition strategies based on data to increase channel and frontline productivity and to achieve acquisition targets
  • Manage and monitor the area’s acquisition pipelines to ensure seamless processing and high approval rate
  • Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing
  • With a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial, Sales-Corporate, Sales-Retail, Sales-Financial Services
  • Must have a strong background/experience in Banking, Consumer Goods/FMCG, Credit Card Companies, Insurance
  • Knowledge in credit card business, policies and processes, selling best practices
  • Strategic with leadership, analytical and decision making skills; Must be people or customer-centric & data-driven; Effective and assertive communication skills for stakeholder management
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners; ability to drive partner and agent for growth and productivity; able to adapt to organizational changes; Flexible to execute what is tasked of him/her.
