Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Specialist - In-Flight “Connectivity” – Technical Services subject matter expert you will support the Manager – Technical Services – IFE and Connectivity to deliver operational excellence in supporting the airline’s vision to become one of the world’s greatest service brands by ensuring the Riyadh Air Fleet is safe, compliant, reliable, on-time and defect-free. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supporting the Manager Technical Services – IFE & Connectivity requirements.
As the Connectivity SME he/she will have a detailed system knowledge and experience to support the organizations by managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting system defects.
Manage, supervise, and provide technical advice on systems operation and functionality with ability to organize and prioritize workload to ensure the most critical issues are resolved first in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
A good understanding and knowledge of leading line maintenance and base maintenance in problem solving and resolution.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, stakeholders, and third-party MRO to diagnose in-service defects and problems.
Good standard of technical report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to develop processes and write technical procedures – Engineering Orders and Special Work Cards.
Create documents and standards to support procedures that working teams will follow.
Receive feedback, identify users’ needs and requirements and mobilize existing technology to meet their criteria.
Document plans, requests, activities and specifications and report on them.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

5+ years’ experience in aviation engineering, and / or maintenance role
Extensive technical services IFE and / or Connectivity solutions experience.
Demonstrated experience in Aircraft modifications, upgrade programs, project management and OEM technical support.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Aviation, Engineering, or another relevant field.

SKILLS

Excellent command of English spoken and written.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in project management tools and software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
