Senior Specialist, TA (temp. 1 year)

Purpose: This position will take an operational role to support the continuing growth of the market through attracting and acquiring top talent, primarily within Retail division. As the Associate Recruiter, position will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the organisation to deliver the best talent to the organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for recruiting diverse talent.
- Support TA Team to manage all aspects of the recruitment process including requisition approval, hiring manager briefing, job advertising, candidate sourcing, application review, candidate screening, interview, reference/background checks and offer process both for Retail field and certain back office positions.
- Build strong working relationships with HR and Hiring Managers.
- Development of assessment centres for high volume hiring for our retail division.
- Leverage relevant advertising resources to create awareness and attract qualified applications for key roles in Retail.
- Leverage candidate databases (internal and external) to identify prospective candidates to create awareness and invite them to apply for open positions.
- Provide coaching and advice to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Work in close partnership with the Manager, Talent Acquisition to build proactive talent pipelines across retail and back office positions.
- Support the TA Team in planning and gathering information for quarterly review meetings with key customers that will provide an overview of recruiting achievements as well as opportunities to improve hiring performance moving forward.
- Utilize recruitment systems effectively following key standards, documenting key actions and ensuring all data is accurate for reporting purposes.
- Support additional recruitment initiatives as needed.
- Stay abreast and current on latest recruiting and industry trends to continuously evolve candidate pipe line and service levels.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment.

- End to end recruitment experience at a variety of levels.

- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making skills. Able to manage confidential and sensitive information and use appropriately.
- Advanced MS Office skills and experience in applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
- University degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, retail field hiring experience is preferred
- Experience in assessment center organization and execution is preferred
- Track record for delivering high impact customer experiences
- Consistently delivers key objectives and core responsibilities on time and with high quality
- Experience working in an administrative position that requires a high level of detailed work
