Turner & Townsend Advisory teamishighly experienced in providing authoritative advice and professional expertise in the fields of Intelligent Procurement, Project Advisory, Dispute Resolution and Digital Enablement to a market leading client base. We are dedicated to making the difference to all our clients engaged in the delivery of major capital projects and programmes in Ireland and globally. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sustainability professional to fulfil the role of Associate Director – Sustainability as a member of our Intelligent Procurement and Advisoryteam in Ireland. The candidate:
    • Significant experience of delivering Sustainability consultancy support for clients is essential
    • Comprehensive knowledge of sustainability legislation and related issues
    • Ability to provide clients with long term perspectives combined with practical actions and pragmatic solutions
    • Able to build strong, professional client relationships and proactively identify and resolves client challenges
    • Attention to detail in service delivery, communications, and ways of working with others
    • Excellent communication including writing and presentation skills
    • Confident leading and working alone or as part of a team, with ability to adapt as required
    • Confident in mentoring and inspiringteam members who love a challenge, guiding in their development and success
    • An innate passion to be part of something big is really important to us
    Responsibilities:
    • Providing specialistsustainabilityadvice to public and private sector clients
    • Developing sustainability strategies and policies for construction projects and programmes
    • Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions of construction projects and programmes
    • Translating sustainability strategies into business-as-usual procurement
    • Setting our governance and control arrangements for construction projects and programmes including operational processes and procedures
    • Engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level to understand their capability and capacity to achieve our clients’ sustainability goals and targets
    • Supporting our clients to build sustainability capability in their supply chains
    • Establishing sustainability baselines including GHG emissions
    • Supporting the development of programme processes and systems that enable efficient data collection, management, and benchmarking
    • Supporting the ongoing development of our services, toolkits and capability build;
    • Supporting business development activities with new and existing clients, including bid writing
      • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject
      • Professional qualified member of a recognised professional body
      • Minimum 10 years’ experience
