Gaming Strategy Lead (Product)

As a Gaming Strategy Lead (Product), you will have the opportunity to help shape the direction of BreederDAO's business and product strategy. You will work alongside a product team and cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new growth opportunities and products for users, analyze market trends in Web3 games to make data-driven decisions, drive transformational change to deliver outstanding results, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the evolution of our products and processes. Responsibilities: ● Develop and present strategic recommendations to the product team ● Define and execute the company's go-to-market plan for a particular product. ● Generate product specifications and feature roadmaps ● Analyze and report key metrics related to business performance ● Evaluate potential partnerships and opportunities for collaboration ● Monitor market trends and competitive landscape ● Conduct research to support business case development ● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, economics, or a related discipline. ● At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming or technology industry. ● Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming industry trends, and developments, including player profiles and behavior. ● Strong understanding of web3 technologies, blockchain technology, blockchain games, and decentralized applications ● Familiarity in the crypto space, demonstrated through holding cryptocurrencies, participating in token sales, collecting NFTs, or showcasing a genuine passion for decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain technology. ● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns. ● Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) to manipulate and analyze data. ● Comfortable working with Google Suite tools, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, to create reports and presentations. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders. ● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: ● Proven track record in developing and executing successful product strategies in the gaming industry: Demonstrated experience in driving the growth and success of gaming products through effective strategic planning and execution. ● Experience with Web3 gaming platforms, blockchain protocols, and NFT ecosystems: Knowledge and understanding of the evolving landscape of Web3 technologies, blockchain-based games, and the use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the gaming industry. ● Excellent communication and presentation skills: Proficiency in effectively conveying findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to stakeholders through written reports and verbal presentations. ● Strong analytical and data-driven mindset: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven decisions to support product strategy and business performance. ● Prior experience in strategy development or business consulting.
