Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of high-quality glass products in Ireland is looking for a Sales & Business Development Executive to join their team JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE : Sales and Business Development Executive LOCATION : Dublin Job Overview This person will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver products that meet their specific requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and play a key part in the growth and development of the business and build on its reputation for providing exceptional customer service, innovative solutions, and reliable products. Responsibilities
  • Develop sales document/pitch deck for commercial sales market.
  • Deal with both new build and refurbishment projects within the commercial and high-end residential sectors.
  • Generate specifications with architects, large interior fit out contractors and specifiers.
  • Manage wide ranging order values of €10k plus.
  • Represent the company's brand and driving strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Handle inbound leads and enquiries to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Grow sales revenues, increase brand market share, and build relationships with key customers.
  • Manage the product offering, recommend pricing levels, and establish sales strategies according to company policies and objectives.
  • Provide the company with new product ideas, market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence.
  • Prepare quotes for jobs surveyed by glaziers.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrable track record in sales and business development with at least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Technical building product experience in glass, timber and joinery market would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in generating specifications managing projects from conception through to completion via specifiers to contractors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and create long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Tendering/Estimation knowledge.
  • High levels of commercial awareness, with strong prospecting skills and the ability to develop business in new and existing accounts.
  • Excellent organisation skills and confidence in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
