GPC Finance is excited to partner with an award-winning Engineering company based in Dublin. They are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a progressive company who prides itself on its exceptional and motivated team from its Senior Management down to its site teams. Role

• Management of the day-to-day functions of the finance department.
• Ownership and responsibility for the delivery of accurate and timely monthly and annual accounts.
• Chair the monthly management meetings and compile the monthly board pack.
• Management of cash flow and cashflow forecasts.
• Responsible for all statutory financial returns: PAYE/PRSI, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, CRO etc.
• Manage the capital expenditure budget as well as the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Management of the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact with the external auditors.
• Manage the monthly payroll and review the weekly payroll.
• Reviewing and improving the financial processes within the company.
• Lead and manage a team of 3 within the finance department.
• Main point of contact for banks, debtors, creditors and IT .

Requirements

• Must have an Accounting Qualification(ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
• Experience in the Construction Industry is a distinct advantage.
• Ability and ambition to deliver the next phase of the company’s growth.
• Strong Commercial and Business Acumen.
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent organizational skills
