The company originated from Arthur Mallon’s Butchers shop in Monaghan Town, which was famous for its tasty and creative sausages recipes. People are at the heart of our family and we are seeking to build our teams to support our plans for growth.   We are now looking for a Warehouse Manager   Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.
• Conduct regular audits and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Plan and organize stock items to support on-site teams and production.
• Ensure shipping schedules meet company and customer requirements.
• Maintain and update related documentation in compliance with quality standards, ensuring the quality and integrity of the stock at all times.

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Design and implement effective warehouse layouts, accounting for product flow, equipment, and handling systems
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving and distribution of stock, deliveries, and efficient dispatch.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including Supervisors, Team Leads and Team members. To include ensuring staffing levels, training plans, and performance management are delivered to plan.
• Promote a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Schedule and assign tasks to maximize productivity and meet operational goals.
• Oversee daily activities, ensuring supervisors maintain control and drive performance.
• Monitor shift and individual performance, addressing underperformance or behaviour issues.
• Conduct daily and weekly team briefs and lead performance improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards,

Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and procedures.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:  

• Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and team leadership (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Strong ability to manage processes and optimize warehouse operations.
• Proven experience in effectively managing and leading a team.
• Exceptional reporting skills and the ability to accurately analyse information.
• Detail-oriented and dedicated to meeting deadlines while upholding high standards.
• Willingness to challenge and improve people, processes, and operational methods.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, especially in a dynamic warehouse environment.
• The ability to foster teamwork and maintain a can-do attitude among the workforce.
