We are seeking an SRE/Backend developer to join a global team building one of IBM’s leading Security solutions. As a member of the team you will be working in a fast paced and rewarding environment. Your Role and Responsibilities

• You will apply software engineering principles to operations in order to develop and support highly scalable, reliable and resilient systems.
• Your primary focus will be end to end development of high quality and high performant security intelligence and event management platform.
• You will also collaborate with global development teams, support them with operational insights.

• Proven Experience in hands-on global production system deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
• Proven Experience with Kubernetes and building and deploying containerised applications.
• Proven Experience with Java and multi-threaded applications.
• Proven Experience of working in an Agile Development Environment.
• Proven experience in systems performance analysis and debugging in a Linux environment.
• Proven experience in building automation for reliability monitoring.
• English Fluent (verbal and written).

• Experience in using the Openshift Container Platform and building and deploying Operators.
• Experience in building applications for the Cloud ( AWS, IBM Cloud etc) and running applications on premise.
• Experience in using and deploying Postgres.
• Experience in using and deploying Kafka.
• Knowledge of Github and Jenkins.
